At Fairy Tale Therapies, Oncology Massage is a specialised treatment designed for people living with cancer, undergoing treatment, recovering from treatment, or living beyond a cancer diagnosis. This gentle and carefully adapted massage focuses on comfort, relaxation and wellbeing. Every session is tailored to your individual circumstances, taking into account your medical history, current treatment plan and how you are feeling on the day of your appointment. Oncology Massage may help to: - Promote deep relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. - Reduce stress, anxiety and emotional tension. - Encourage better sleep and rest. - Ease muscular discomfort and general aches. - Support comfort during and after cancer treatment. - Provide nurturing, therapeutic touch in a safe and supportive environment. Before any treatment can be booked, a complimentary consultation is required. This allows us to discuss your medical history, current treatment, any side effects you may be experiencing and whether Oncology Massage is suitable for you at this time. You will also be asked to complete a confidential health questionnaire before your appointment. Once your consultation and health form have been reviewed, I will personally arrange your booking. Please note that the online booking calendar is not available for Oncology Massage appointments. All appointments must be arranged directly with me to ensure your treatment is appropriate, safe and fully tailored to your needs. Pricing - 60 minutes: £65 - 90 minutes: £90 A 15% introductory discount will be automatically applied to your first Oncology Massage appointment. Please note that Oncology Massage appointments are currently available in 60- or 90-minute sessions only. Important Information Oncology Massage is a complementary therapy and is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure cancer. It is designed to support comfort, wellbeing and quality of life alongside conventional medical care. If you are currently receiving cancer treatment, I may ask for additional information regarding your care before confirming your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
Because Oncology Massage clients may experience unexpected changes in their health, treatment schedules or hospital appointments, a flexible rescheduling policy is available. Rescheduling Due to Illness or Cancer Treatment If you are unwell, experiencing treatment-related side effects, have been scheduled for hospital treatment, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, scans, medical appointments or any other cancer-related care that affects your ability to attend, please contact me as soon as possible. I understand that circumstances can change quickly, and in these situations I will do my best to reschedule your appointment, even at short notice. If I am unable to answer your call, please send a WhatsApp message or text message explaining the situation. Written messages are often the quickest way for me to understand your circumstances and respond appropriately. Standard Rescheduling Policy For non-medical reasons, the standard clinic policy applies. Appointment changes must be requested with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Cancellations Cancellations are not covered under the Oncology Massage flexible policy. The flexibility offered is specifically for genuine illness, treatment-related side effects, hospital appointments or other significant health-related circumstances. If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies for a reschedule, please contact me directly and I will be happy to discuss your circumstances.
